Three photos: The first shows a group of people wearing high-vis vests outdoors on a grassy field, engaging with a measuring device for surveying. The second shows a woman in a harness, standing on the ground, in a park or open field. The third depicts a group of people, some wearing orange high-vis vests, near a golf course in a grassy area.

Geophysical survey training days

We offer a geophysical training day or weekend for local archaeological societies, schools, clubs and other community organisations.

The day includes an introductory talk, how to measure in the survey grid, using the machines and how to process the results.

We have over 20 years of geophysical surveying experience and have held training days for community groups and organisations across the southwest, including the South West Heritage Trust, The Wessex Academy of Field Archaeology and the Tamar Valley AONB.
